In Ngari Prefecture, S.W. China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, the cultural and natural scenery are well-regarded by travelers. Along the well-known north line of Ngari, there are many lakes, one of which is the Dawa Co in Coqen County. Dawa means moon in Tibetan and the Dawa Co indeed looks like a rising crescent moon dotted on the vast prairie.
