The Meru Monastery Sutra-Printing House is located on Beijing East Road in Lhasa. It was built during the time of the Fifth Dalai Lama and is more than 400 years old.

Currently as the only Buddhist scripture printing house in Tibet, it still uses ancient engraving printing, ink brushing, paper laying, transfer printing, and lifting techniques.
