Recently, the 2026 China Xizang “Our Festival: Dragon Boat Festival” High-Altitude Dragon Boat (Yak-Leather Boat) Race and “Sports Event Season” launch ceremony officially commenced at Lhasa Riverside Park. The 2025 event was certified by the World Record Certification Authority (WRCA) as the “world’s highest-altitude dragon boat race.”
