As of August 15, a total of 2,578 households, involving 12,139 individuals affected by the 6.8-magnitude earthquake that struct Dingri County, had successfully relocated to safe and comfortable new houses and ushered in happy and fulfilling lives. It has been reported that Xigaze will continue to support affected residents by facilitating their phased relocation into new housing, to complete all relocations by the end of October.
