Gampa, which means “the village near the snow mountain” in Tibetan language, is located in the east of Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region, with an average altitude of over 4,700 meters. Gampa is a place surrounded by snow mountains, which is called “Snow Village in the Horizon” by tourists.
