
In March, Curpu Monastery in Lhasa, Tibet held a "Cham" (sorcerer’s dance) activity to expel evil spirits and pray for averting disasters.

Cham Dance is a kind of religious dance performed by Tibetan Buddhist monks.

There are three forms, namely, single dance, double dance and group dance. When dancing, monks wear various masks of ghosts, animals, and long robes.

Curpu Monastery is the main monastery of the Garma Gagyu Sect of Tibetan Buddhism in Tibet. It is located in Doilungdeqen District, Lhasa.
