On the morning of June 14, colorful events were launched by Lhasa Archives Bureau to mark international archive day.
At the site, lots of people were attracted by the display boards and picture booklets.
In the event, Lhasa Archives Bureau elected more than 300 pictures divided into 4 display boards to present the changes having happened in old and today's Tibet to the public. Staff of the event said, " We hope we can use this chance to help people learn about and witness the great changes happened in Lhasa since 1978, when the reform and opening-up policy was carried out."
It is learned that a total of 3000 archives publicity materials have been given out and have received public consultations over 600 times on the event.
