Longbao National Nature Reserve is located in Longbao Town, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, China.

With an average altitude of over 4,200 meters, it is one of the world’s highest plateau wetlands, and is also the first natural reserve dedicated to protecting black-necked cranes and their breeding base in China.

In the reserve, pairs of black-necked cranes dance gracefully, creating a dreamlike plateau bird paradise. (Photos by He Ruiming)
