In early summer, Norbulingka, located in the western suburbs of Lhasa, shows picturesque scenery with blooming flowers and lush trees. Norbulingka means "treasure Garden" in Tibetan and is one of the world cultural heritages in Tibet. It was built in the 1740s and is a typical Tibetan-style garden, including Kelsang Lingka, Tsoji Phodrang, Golden Phodrang and other palace buildings.
