At the end of March 2021, in Nyingchi City, Tibet Autonomous Region, technicians from the China Railway Electrification Bureau Group were making fine adjustments to the catenary. The Lhasa-Nyingchi section of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway is the first electrified railway in Tibet Autonomous Region. At present, the electrification construction of the Railway is advancing rapidly. The catenary construction has been completed andthe nine traction substations across the line are scheduled to start power transmission in April.
