Photography Exhibition on the Grassland

Recently, the 16th Tibet Qomolangma Photography Exhibition opened in Lhunzhub County, Lhasa City, Xizang Autonomous Region. It collected nearly 10,000 photographic works and 30 short videos from over 500 photographers and photography enthusiasts nationwide.

Dawa Tsering’s documentary photography series Plateau Elves: Tibetan Antelopes has won the highest award at this year’s Photography Exhibition. Through long-term waiting and recording in the depopulated area of Changtang, he has gained a deeper understanding of the vulnerability of Tibetan antelopes. By exhibiting the moments he captured over the years, he aims to help more people know about the living conditions of Tibetan antelopes and protection measures for them to unite more people to protect the beautiful ecological environment.
