2020-10-15

On September 25, the 2020 “One Heart: Building the Chinese Heart Together” hand-in-hand aid activity was held in Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region. 140 volunteers from all over the country gathered here, and after the launching ceremony, were divided into five groups. After a 2.5-hour trek, they arrived at the Yangbajain Town Central Primary School, which sits at an altitude of more than 4,300 meters. Here they engaged in material donations, care auctions, and one-on-one charity activities.

The activity donated 810 sets of bed clothes and 300 boxes of calcium carbonate chewable tablets to the Yangbajain Town Central Primary School, hoping that the children will be able to sleep comfortably and grow up healthy and robust. Many volunteers also bought clothing, books, toys, stationery, and other items to the children of Yangbajain Town Central Primary School, hoping that the children here can improve their lives, studies, and health.
