Drolkar (member of the CPPCC National Committee, vice chairman of the Federation of Industry and Commerce of the Tibet Autonomous Region, president of Tibet Zhongyuan Building Materials Group Co. Ltd.)
This is the first time I have ever been invited to take part in the two sessions. My community-based field studies have led to my proposal to encourage and boost private entrepreneurs’ confidence. In recent years, both the autonomous region and China as a whole have issued a number of strategies and measures to amplify effective investments aiming to give private entities all the space and ability they need to enjoy the benefits offered by governmental policies. My own company just happens to be one of the beneficiaries. My view is that we should continuously improve such a ripe investment and finance-driven environment in the future, give full play to the guiding role of the government, and effectively and creatively innovate a system based on direct input, which I sincerely believe will produce a sound mechanism for investments and financing and simultaneously boost entrepreneurs’ confidence in development. Only by doing so can more effective investments be triggered, invented, and thereby expanded.
The private economy in Tibet has already become a most important force in promoting first-rate economic and social development in the region. As an entrepreneur myself, not only have I personally witnessed the leapfrog development of the private economy, but I have also put my own efforts toward this development process. It is thus my duty to offer what I can by suggesting measures that might further blossom and expand the realm.
